In partnership with the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States and the Ukraine Ministry of Education
and Science, Citizens High School (CHS) has launched
the Ukrainian Refugee Online Academy.
While many aid organizations and governments are
providing food, shelter, and medical attention for
Ukrainian refugees, the need for a viable high school
Education “bridge program” still persist. Tens of
Thousands of high school students are no longer able
to access their previous high schools and need an outlet
to continue their education.
The situation for refugee students is rapidly deteriorating.
Students are in 10-15 different countries, hundreds of
refugee camps and students will end up at thousands
of different high schools with approximately 5,000 coming
to the United States.
